Our Railroad model is a faithful replica of the locomotive and we are proud to be adding this into our Railroad range. The model will come with a HM7000 21-Pin Sound decoder which will be preloaded with realistic Class 66 sound recordings and etched nameplates to enhance this model even further.

History

Built in Muncie, Indiana and entering service under No. 66775 this locomotive was named in 2017 after the famous and oldest serving Type 23 frigates in the Royal Navy ‘HMS Argyll’. Carrying the pennant number F231 on its bodyside with the Royal Navy white ensign and crest on the cab sides in celebration of the famous Frigate.
