Hiroshima Electric Railway Type 200 Hannover Tram

Hiroshima Electric Railway’s Type 200 car No. 238 was donated in August 1989 by the city of Hannover to commemorate the 5th anniversary of its sister city partnership with Hiroshima. After entering service with Hiroshima Electric Railway, it initially operated on the Hakushima Line and later on the Yokogawa Line in Japan. Since Autumn 2018, it has mainly been used for special event services, including operation as a decorated “Christmas Tram” each December.

Note: From this production run, the pantograph specification has been updated. Accordingly, the price and JAN code have also been changed. All other specifications remain the same as the previous product.

Features:

• A compact tram with an overall length of just 66 mm, with accurate replications of details on the real vehicle.
  
• Fitted with a black PS16C pantograph.
  
• Faithful reproduction of the Hannover city message and colour scheme applied to the sides of the vehicle.
  
• Includes destination display stickers such as “Out of Service”, “MERRY CHRISTMAS”, and “Special.”
  
• Route number stickers: “8”, “9”, “(for Christmas Tram, 2 types)”, “(Blank).”
