The Land Rover Discovery 2, often referred to as the Discovery Series II, is a mid-size SUV produced by Land Rover and was in production from 1998 to 2004, serving as the successor to the original Discovery (Discovery Series I) and preceding the Discovery 3 (LR3).
The Discovery 2 retained the boxy and rugged design elements that Land Rovers are known for. It had a spacious interior with seating for up to seven passengers, thanks to its optional third-row seating. Designed with off-road capabilities in mind. It featured full-time four-wheel drive, a robust chassis, and advanced suspension systems, making it capable of handling challenging terrains and conditions.
The second release on the Oxford Land Rover Discovery 2 is a replica of the vehicle registered FP02 HPX from 2002, the year when some ‘facelift’ features were added to the real vehicle.
The smart body colour is smoky silver with black trim and inside; the seating is ivory white. Final authentic detail sees the Land Rover name printed across the edge of the bonnet and the Discovery marque beneath the rear number plate.
