The new GWR Lined Crimson Lake versions represent coaching stock that would have been seen between 1912 and 1922. This makes them ideal for those who are modelling the latter years of the pre-grouping era, or the railways during the Great War. Much like the other ‘Evolution’ Coaches, these new models are generic 48’ bogie coaches, each detailed with an array of key features that modellers associate with their pre-grouping railway of choice. All versions of the new GWR Lined Crimson Lake range feature the Clerestory roof design, except for the Full Brake, which has an elliptical roof. The roofs are easily removable so that you can fit figures into your coaches, should you wish. There is also a multitude of separately fitted parts and interior details to bring the coaches to life, including luggage racks, picture frames on compartment dividers and gas light fittings. All Rapido ‘Evolution’ Coaches, including the new GWR Lined Crimson Lake liveried versions, have a variety of interesting features.
